Listing Tips

  1. After you have subscribed to a package you can list as many balls/accessories/patterns as you like within the allotted subscription period
  2. Contact details: this is your preferred method for the buyer to contact you either to ask questions or to make payment.
  3. Once you have subscribed you will be given an ID number and the name you have chosen to be know by.
  4. List your yarn/accessories/patterns filling using as many boxes as you require.
  5. It is not possible to amend the title of the yarn/accessory/pattern or the picture once it has been added so please make sure that it is spelt correctly the first time and the correct picture is added.
  6. Try to give as much information as you possibly can, the more information the seller has the more chance that your yarn/accessory/pattern will fit their requirements for them to buy.
  7. Give a clear description and any other relevant information in the description box at the bottom.
  8. A photo will sell your item better than no photo, but in the eventuality that you don’t have one we have a default picture that will appear.
  9. It is your choice how you accept payment for your items and how much P&P you charge, options for payment could be Cheque, Bacs, Postal Order, Paypal.
  10. It is advisable to incorporate the cost of P&P in the cost of the yarn/accessory/pattern, when using paypal buttons, if you are selling more than one item and you sell different quantities it would be difficult to put a cost of P&P for all  the different transactions.
  11. If listing your items using Paypal you will need to create a button to add to your listing, if you have more than one item you need to add a drop down for the prices for each amount of item i.e. 1 ball is £2.00, X2 Balls £4.00 and so on until you have the drop down equalling the quantity of items to sell.
  12. This is obviously not applicable when a purchase is made from outside the UK, if you do get a buyer from outside the UK we recommend that you contact the buyer advising the cost of the P&P for the Item.
  13. Paypal will only allow 10 prices in drop down so we recommend if you have more than 10items you split it in two and note on the description that you have another X amount of items listed.
  14. Your post code is not compulsory but this may be helpful as it gives the buyer and idea where you are if you are happy for collections, we advise you only put the first 3 digits of your post code.
  15. You will see a rating system this is quite a simple system to give an idea of the sellers history please make sure you leave a rating if you purchase any Yarn/accessories or patterns.
  16. It is the sellers responsibility to amend quantities or to delete items once sold.
